Veganism

Halal

According to the 2021 Census in Australia, the combined number of people who self-identified as Muslims in Australia, from all forms of Islam, constituted 813,392 people, or 3.2% of the total Australian population.

Omnivorous diet

Carnivore = Mostly eats meat

Herbivore = Mostly eats plants

Omnivore = Mostly eats a balance of meat and plants

There is a lot of debate as to whether humans are omnivores, carnivores, or herbivores. Arguements can be made for both omnivore and herbivore. Our bodies aren't made to eat meat the same way carnivores are - no sharp teeth, and our stomach isnt exactly designed to digest meat the same way. Our bodies ARE made to eat plants, which is a common argument from vegetarians/vegans. Its safer to say humans are behavioural omnivores. We CAN eat meat, but we dont NEED to in order to survive.
